When my old mechanic shop closed down, I was stressing over finding a new one...then I found McBride's. I have taken my vehicle there twice, Jon F has taken care of me both times, and I have totally been happy with the work he has done on both occasions. It's hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust...but this is the spot. I was amazed the first time I went there, on how many folks were bringing their vehicles in for repair. I talked to a few, because I was new and they all claimed to be repeat customers...one gentleman told me about how he took his daughter's first car in there for repair because he wanted to make sure it was done right and he only trusted them to do it. That speaks volumes! - My husband and I dropped his car off this morning at McBride's. We are first-time customers. The first impression of the shop is how orderly, neat and clean! All phone contact and conversation in the shop was professional and cordial. Most of all, we can't say enough about how impressed we are with this shop. They took the car in and fixed it the same day. The price was excellent, not that much more than if my husband had struggled through and did the repair of the power steering hoses himself. (And well worth not listening to my husband hating doing the repair!) They even discovered a headlight that was out and fixed that when they were repairing the car... after asking if we wanted them to do it. I can say that this is the first repair shop we have found that we trust. Thankfully, we have only had a few repairs to cope with, but it is great to know that McBide's is nearby and is competent, reliable and trustworthy. - Quality repair shop. Honest and very friendly crew.. Dropped my car off three days before they would be able to fix it. They had it fix and ready to go the next day- and at no cost because it was under warranty. Dropped my car off completely stressed out and picked it up feeling like I hit the lottery thanks to their honesty and hard work. Great place.. would 100%% recommend. - McBride's provided the best auto repair service! I have older cars that other shops were unable to fix. McBride's provided a quick estimate and repaired the vehicles immediately. There were no problems with the repair work. I simply left the cars, received a quote, and paid over the phone after the work was completed. - McBride's Automotive Repair Inc. gives great service at a fair price. My Dad told me that McBride's Automotive Repair Inc. has a good reputation. Also, McBride's labor rate is much cheaper than a Ford dealership's hourly rate. I had a heat shield that went bad. McBride's was able to schedule the repair on my day off from work. One of their mechanics removed the heat shield. My car repair was completed shortly after I had dropped my car off. The repair was quite inexpensive. - My car had a serious transmission problem with an electrical component that caused the clutch plates not to engage properly. I had my car towed to McBrides because I trust their work and have been repairing my car for many years and do excellent work. Due to the nature and complexity of the situation the Owner of McBrides personally diagnosed, did research on the problem and was honest with me about the time it will take to repair etc. After repairing my transmission within two days I drove to Columbus for training for my work. My transmission worked as good as or better than new! and will continue to be a reliable car because of McBrides. I decided to keep the car since the repair was done.- Chris Manfull. 6/2/2015
